The viaducts are a symbol of Redondela. The Ourense viaduct, the first encountered by the pilgrim who arrives via the Interior Way, is a work with a length of 318 meters and a maximum height of 36 metres. It consists of three parts: the metal center and the stonework sides. It was inaugurated on July 30, 1876. The viaduct of the Vigo-Pontevedra railway line, located over the seaside neighborhood of Esfarrapada, is the most important work on the entire route. It has three metallic spans and ten of blockwork, with spans of 57.70 meters in the central ones and 46 meters in the lateral ones. It was inaugurated in the middle of the Corpus Christi Festival in 1884.
