Redondela has 15 kilometers of coastline. In them there are several beaches, such as Arealonga (Chapela) or Rande (Cedeira). But the most frequented beach, by the neighborhood and by tourism, is located in the parish of Cesantes. The beach has different services (cafeterias, restaurants, recreation areas…) and a parking area. In addition, the promenade allows you to contemplate some of the most beautiful pictures and landscapes of Redondela. On the other hand, the Cesantes sandbank frequently hosts nautical activities, both in winter and summer. Finally, this area is for shellfishing and, therefore, a work and living space for many families from Redondela. Respect for the natural environment, as well as for workplaces, is mandatory for all people.
