Celebration of exaltation of this typical autumn fruit and so popular throughout the Maceiras river valley in Redondela. The festival is celebrated on the first Sunday of October in the parish of Santo Estevo de Negros, where the festival and tasting take place. In it we can enjoy multiple salty, cold or sweet dishes, with the apple as the protagonist: cod with apple, chorizos in cider, ham with apple, etc. In addition to the tasting, during the day there is a dessert contest made with this fruit and all kinds of fun and musical activities.
