The Xente Titiriteira Association is the creator and organizer of the event, with the support of various entities, including the Redondela City Council. The organization of the event maintains the international vocation of the Festival, presenting the works and shows of professional companies from all over the world.
A festival of diversity that will once again fill Redondela with string puppets, traditional puppets, creative avant-garde games, participatory games, street entertainment and a bunch of surprises. Following the philosophy of its creator, Juanjo Amoedo, the Festival continues to involve the largest possible number of institutions, social sectors and people from the town hall in its celebration, in order to maintain this event as the largest cultural event in Redondela.
Thus, the Festival already has the support of various regional, provincial and local political, economic and social institutions, and around 250 people from different groups and local groups that make up the Xente Titiriteira Association participate voluntarily in its organization. .
In the last edition (2021) the number of 30,000 spectators was far exceeded. Redondela is transformed these days into a huge stage in the open spaces, from the Alameda de Castelao to the Casa da Torre. It is an inescapable appointment of all the captivated Galician.
