This historic building known as Casa da Torre (Tower House), which today is the public hostel, stands out for its architecture and its cultural spaces. Casa da Torre is a state-of-the-art building, in a Renaissance style, founded in the 16th century by the Prego de Montaos family. Just above the arched door is the confirmation in the form of a family shield. The owners payroll is as wide as the uses to which it was destined. For example, it was the house of the town hall until the current one was built, located in the Alameda de Castelao (park). But it was also, oddly enough, a deposit of rental cars and a tobacco shop. Inside there is a library, a leisure room and a space reserved for the exposure of Sargadelos, which tells us in a didactic manner history and shows us several original examples of the most representative ceramics of Galicia.
